Everyone in St. Colmcille’s PS would like to wish both Colin O’Riordan and Dean McEnroe the very best of luck in the U21 All Ireland Final next Saturday.
Colin and Dean are both past pupils of St. Colmcille’s. They played pivotal roles in helping the school win the Roinn C County Football Final in 2006 and Colin captained the team to win the Roinn B title the following year. Colin went on the represent the school on the Tipperary Primary game football team that same year. Since then, St. Colmcille’s have been playing in Roinn A and it was fitting the Colin presented the medals to the team who won the school’s first Roinn A title in 2011.
We hope Colin and Dean can do the business on Saturday against Tyrone and look forward to seeing them both back in St. Colmcille’s soon!
