A last minute goal from Man of the Match Paddy Cadell sealed a second county title for the boys from Templemore in two days.
Having spent much of the game trailing a skillful and determined Two Mile Borris team, it wasn’t until the dying moments that Templemore hit the front.
Nick Keane in goal kept a clean sheet and made two vital saves late in the game. Captain Noel Morrissey accepted the cup on behalf of a great team who never gave up. The final score was 2 – 2 to 0 – 6. A historic double for Templemore who won both the Under 13 and Under 11 county titles. Congratulations to all involved!
