Day two of active week saw the boys enjoy a spikeball league, a penalty shootout competition and crossbar challenge. The younger classes also had a very exciting time doing playground games before the day ended with a sports quiz.

Well done to all who helped make it a very enjoyable day!

The Blues Spik Their Way to the Final

On Tuesday morning when we came into school we were told that we were playing the spikeball league by the teachers. The spikeball league was between fourth fifth and sixth. I was on Blue Skies and there was five people on the team.

In our first game we had to play the Tipp Toppers. We knew that it would be hard to beat the Tipp Toppers because they had a few great players like Jack Barnet and Brian Quinn. It was a tight game but in the end thankfully we came out on top and won the game by a few points.

In the semi final we had to play the Black Panters. We had started very well and went ten points up but the Black Panters never gave up and in the end only lost by five points. That meant that we were through to the final.

In the final we had to play the Yellow Bellies they started well and went five points up. Then we got a few points but it was not good enough and in the end lost by a few points. We were really disappointed but still happy to get to a final in the spikeball.
