Day three of active week started with a treasure hunt. The senior boys searched the park for 12 clues while the junior classes hunted around the school grounds for 9 well hidden treasures!! Later in the day the dodgeball and rounders blitzes took place before we headed off on our 5Km cycle around Cloone or walk in the park.
Dodgeball
Last Wednesday the White Ghosts team and I were playing the Tipp Toppers in dodgeball. When the game started we had an amazing start and got most of their team out straight away!
We did awesome in the first game and beat them, but the second game we had a good start but they came back and caught a lot of dodgeballs and we lost it, it was all down to the last game.
They had a good start and knocked a lot of us out. It was up to Cormac Bourke he caught a few dodgeballs and got Ryan Loughnane in the game but it wasn’t enough to save the team and the White Ghosts lost.

Grey Grabs Rounders Victory
On the third day of active week the Black Panthers played the Yellow bellies in the Rounders league on the sports ground of St. Colmcille’s.
It was realy easy for the Black Panthers because the Yellow Bellies hit the ball to the same side. The blacks caught many balls and won many bats. James Grey knocked out three people at the home base.
The Black Panthers won the game 7-4.they went on to win the Rounders league and gained 9 points for their team.

WALSH CATCHES FOR VICTORY
It’s the 15th June. Its active week 2016 in Colmcille’s our main event today is rounders. The Semi final was against Tipp Toppers. It was a wonderful day for rounders.
So off we went Green Goblins won the toss and decided to bat first. It was a brilliant start for Green Goblins they snatched 4 lucky points and finished with 6. Next to bat was the Tipp Toppers. It was very close near the end. It was 6.5 it was last bat David Higgins stepped up it went high in the air but Ned Walsh caught it and it was game over. Green Goblins snatched a delightful victory. What a game! and 6.5 Green Goblins headed into the final.

Sheedy Catches Rocket Balls
In Dodgeball on Wednesday we played the Yellow Bellies. In our first match we beat them 2 games to 0.
Our next match was against the Black Panthers. In the semi-Finals we beat them 2 games to 0. I caught a few balls in that match.
In the Final we faced the Tipp Toppers we fought hard .I knocked out Jack Barnet. Then caught David Higgins’ ball. Then another ball came at me I caught it Jack Duggan threw it at me. Cormac Foy was the last one left. He threw it to my right but I caught it. We won the final. I was happy.

1st In Dodgeball
I was in the final of the dodgeball with the Red Devils. We were up by one in the first round. I knocked out Jack in that round and he was last on his team. We were in the second round and I got knocked out. Then Kane amazingly caught a rapid ball.
I was back in the game. I knocked out David. I was with Adam and I got knocked out but Adam caught a ball and got Luke back in the game again.
It was Luke and Adam VS Chris and Jack. Jack was picking up a ball and Luke got a cheeky shot at his feet.It was all up to Chris.Adam threw a ball and Chris went to catch it but he dropped it. WE WON IN THE END.
