Our U11 footballers put in three impressive displays on Friday to book a place in the county final against Carrick-on-Suir.

They day began with a 5.2 to 0.2 win over Scoil Ailbhe in a game that would set the tone for the remainder of the blitz.

The second game against Gaeilscoil Thurles finished with a flurry of points as the boys in green scored 5.8. The defensive unit was compact and again only conceded two points.

Tipperary Monastery stood as the final obstacle to be cleared and again the boys from Templemore put in a great team performance to win on a score line of 3.7 to 0.1.

Well done to the 13 boys who scored 13-17 in three games while only conceding 5 points. We look forward to the final.
