St. Colmcille’s competed in three county hurling finals last week. In the U13 Roinn A final we were beaten by an exception Scoil Ailbhe team. Our U11A team made history by winning the school’s first ever ‘A’ Hurling title when they defeated St. Peter and Paul’s. While our U11B team were narrowly beaten by Carrick-on-Suir. Well done to all 41 boys who played in Semple Stadium on Thursday and Friday. Thanks to all the pupils, staff, parents and friends of St. Colmcille’s for their support over the two days. A special word of thanks to Mr. Kelly and Mr. Doyle who give so much of their own time to the promotion and development of GAA in our school.
