We left St. Colmcilles at 9 o’clock to go to Shamrock Rovers Grounds to support our U 13 team in the All Ireland finals .We were all excited on the way. When we got there we went through the turnstile and took our seats. Then we got something to eat. Then the first match began. Leinster and Connacht played the first match. Leinster won the first match 4-1. Next was St. Colmcilles turn against Ulster .The boys were excellent and won 5-2. The next match we played Connacht. Shane and Eanna scored but we lost 4-2. Leinster and Ulster played with Leinster winning .We now needed Connacht to beat Ulster .We all shouted for Connacht . They didn’t win so this left us having to beat Leinster in our final match .So the game began and the boys tried really hard but at half time it was nil all .One goal is all we needed .It was not to be .The boys played their hearts out ,hitting the crossbar twice and Rory bringing off some great saves . We were all disappointed when the final whistle was blown .The team came up to the stand and we all clapped . They were very sad .Next was the presentation .St Colmcilles came in third place . They got bronze medals and a team picture was taken .Back to the bus for the journey home .I sat in the back of the bus and we had great fun . Mr Doyle told us that he was going to stop at McDonalds .We were very happy to hear this .Finally we were at McDonalds .We sat outside and ate our food .Andrew brought me a cookie(thanks Andrew) and thanks to the team and Mr Doyle and Mr Kelly for a great day .Hopefully on Friday we will get a better result . Up St .Colmcilles .
