Well done to our U11 B Football team who won the county final blitz in Cashel today. They beat Gaelscoil Clonmel, Cashel, Grange and Gaelscoil Thurles. Team captain Patrick Donoghue accepted the trophy on behalf of the team. Full report bellow.
On Monday, the U11B team went to Cashel with Mr. Doyle on a bus.When we arrived we had four matches against Thurles, Cashel, Grange, and Clonmel. In our first match we played Grange and won 5-4 to no score. The second match we played was against Clonmel and we won 2-3 to 1 point. In the third match we played Cashel and won 4-2 to 1 point. I was captain in the last match and we won 4-2 to 1 goal. This meant we wereCountyChampions. At the end of the day Patrick Donoghue collected the trophy for St. Colmcille’s.
