At ten to eleven the whole school left St. Colmcille’s to go to St. Joseph’s Christmas concert called ‘Jingle in the Jungle’.
The first show consisted of Senior infant boys and girls. It was about an angle called Whoops-a-Daisy. Whoops-a-Daisy was very clumsy and forgetful. It was an enjoyable story. In the second show it was up to the Junior infants to perform. At the start it was about doctors. They sang a couple of songs and it was really funny. I preferred it to the senior infant one. In the next performance the first, second and third classes performed. It was set in a market. Five girls bought a magic jigsaw. An angel came to them and they put the jigsaw together. Meanwhile Bethlehem was under attack. I didn’t really like it. Then came the big show Jingle In The Jungle .I was really excited. It was about the Lion King. The two main characters were Mufasa and Simba. Mufasu was the Lion King and he was killed. Simba became the new Lion King.
I had a great day at the play.
