On the second day of October 31 boys travelled to Páirc Na Nóg in Thurles.

We arrived in Páirc Na Nóg at half twelve and were togged out at quarter to one and ready for action. We did our warm up and before we knew it at one o clock the ball was thrown up between Michael Cahill, Ned Walsh and Gaelscoil’s two midfielders. We started off well and only for Eoin Collins’ great save we mightn’t have been 4-5 to 0-0 up at half time. We had some oranges and grapes while listening to Mr.Healy and Mr. Doyle’s wise words. We went into the second half confident we would win this game and we did. Before we knew it the final whistle went and we won 6-8 to 2-1. The team and scorers were Eoin Collins, Dayle Hogan, Eddie Corcoran and his cousin Tom Corcoran alongside him. The wing back line consisted of Cian Sheedy, Josh Quinlan and Cormac Foy. The midfield partnership included Ned Walsh 0-1 and Michael Cahill 1-0, the wing forwards were Daniel McAlister 0-1, Ned Delaney 2-3 and Glen Fennell, and last but not least were the full forward line of Jamie Ormond our free taker who scored 2 frees and 1 from play, David Kinane was the hat trick hero on his debut for the school while Jamie Monaghan was in the other corner. In the exhibition match we also won by 0-1 to 0-0. Robert Crampton scored the only point of the game. It was a great day and hopefully our winning form will continue.
