Well done to the Templemore Recruits who represented the school in the VAI Spikeball All Ireland finals in Limerick recently. Having won the county and regional finals without losing a single game, hopes were high that the school could regain the title they won for the first time last year.
Wins against Mullagh (Cavan), Glounthaune (Cork), Stone Hill (Galway) Ballymany (Kildare) earned a semi final place for the team. Unfortunately the boys were beaten by the eventual winners Aghada from East Cork.
This was a fantastic effort and, having beaten the other team in the final, it is no mean feat to be the second best team in Ireland!
You did us proud lads – Well done!
