In St. Colmcille’s we strive to be environmentally friendly and economical with our waste so we are making steps to becoming a Plastic Free school. We have brought Glanmore Foods on board this year, Glanmore Foods supply every child that signs up to the Free Lunch Scheme with a packed lunch each day, all in compostable or recyclable packaging. Not only this but Glanmore foods have fitted water filters in each classroom and have supplied each child with a stainless steel water flask that the boys can reuse over and over again and re-fill with clean drinking water from their classroom. So no need for plastic bottles in our school!! We are proud to be a Green School.
