It was a fun filled week this week celebrating Friendship Week. All the classes were involved. At the beginning of the week Ms. Hassett did an assembly on Friendship and discussed with the boys what friendship is and the importance of friendship. Fr. Vincent also came in to talk to us about friendship and what friendship means to him.
We also participated in a wide range of activities during the week to promote friendship. Here’s a small snippet of some of the activities pupils enjoyed – Buddy Reading, Buddy Games, reciting poems, singing songs, drawing competition ‘A moment with my Friend’, writing friendship recipes, playing inclusive games and lots more.
First class invited the First class girls from St. Josephs to come down on a play date. The boys and girls had a great time and had lots of fun.
Mrs. Faherty ended the week with a great assembly on anti-bulling.
