Welcome to our website! I hope you enjoy your online visit to St. Colmcille’s.
St. Colmcille’s is a school steeped in a proud history of education and sport and it is with great pride I work with the staff towards ensuring the future of St. Colmcille’s is one of hope and success. There is a great spirit in the school—a spirit of work, a spirit of play and spirit of energy. We work towards helping each of our pupils develop his own individual skills and talents, and encourage them to be responsible, knowledgeable and inquisitive students.
Education is ever-changing and it is this challenge that we meet everyday in an effort to provide the quality teaching that is necessary for today’s world. St. Colmcille’s is a busy place and there are opportunities for every boy to shine. Whether he stars on the school’s Football or Hurling teams, sings with the school choir, works on the Green Flag Committee, wins the school Connect 4 or Draughts league or acts in one of the many Dramas put on at our weekly Assemblies—he will find success.
I’d also like to thank all the people who support us in achieving these goals– our hardworking Board of Management and our enthusiastic Parents’ Association in particular. I encourage all parents to play their part too by becoming an active member of our Parents’ Association.
