On the 22nd of November<\/span> at 7 o’clock Ciaran McCormack, Mikey Delaney, Luke Ormond and myself attended the Mid Tipperary\u00a0GAA Quiz.It was held in The Ragg.<\/div>\n

When we all arrived we picked our table and waited for the quiz to start.After the first 4 rounds we had 30 question right out of 32.The closest team to us had 27 questions right.We had got off to a great start.Then came the picture round and somehow we got Michael Ryan wrong which meant we got seven. Another good round for the team.In the next three rounds we had a slip up with a round of five and two rounds of 6. We were really nervous after our slip up and knew that other teams could catch up on us.<\/div>\n

When they called out result we were in 1st place but 14 more teams had to be called out. That’s when it got really nerve wrecking. It was a sign of relief when we won and we were all very relieved and excited. They gave goodies to all teams. They called up the 5 teams who were going to represent the Mid in the County Final.<\/div>\n

Noel McGrath presented us with a plaque for the school and a smaller plaque for every member of the team. We also got a 25 euro voucher\u00a0each for Lar na Pairce. We got home at about 9 o’clock tired but very happy. Thanks to Mr.Doyle for all his help. We now can look forward to going to Thurles to represent our school in the County Final.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
