This week we celebrated \u2018Friendship Week\u2019 with a variety of activities. We discussed what being a friend is and the boys came up with fabulous words describing what being a friend is to them. We also discussed how to keep and break friendships.<\/p>\n

Every day, each child had to do a good deed. They wrote their good deed on a leaf and stuck it to the Good Deed Tree in the Halla.<\/p>\n

In class, the children talked about ways they could be helpful and respect others. They also played friendship games, such as Friendship Bingo. In SPHE and PE we played many co-operative games using blindfolds, balls and hulahoops. We learned to help each other and work together. The classes also created Friendship Tree using their finger prints.<\/p>\n

On Thursday the First Class boys invited the First Class girls from St. Joseph\u2019s down to play. It was great fun! They boys were extremely busy in the morning baking cakes to impress the girls! It was a great success and the boys thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the girls.<\/p>\n

All the boys put in huge effort.<\/p>\n
