I was very, very, VERY nervous because I was singing on my own for the first time in the church. \u00a0There were a lot of people in the church, every seat was full.<\/p>\n<p>My aunties, uncles, cousins, Momo and Dado travelled fromLondonandGalwayto see me make my communion. \u00a0They all really liked my song and thought the church looked really good and so did I. \u00a0I sat next to Padraig in the fourth row. \u00a0The bread tasted different than I expected. \u00a0I thought that it would taste like a white chocolate button but it DIDN&#8217;T! There was a happy feeling all around the church.<\/p>\n<p>After mass we went back to my house for a big party. \u00a0There were about 30 people at my house and they all had good fun. I had a bouncy castle in the garden and I played soccer with Aaron, Shane, Finn, Marty and Johnny. \u00a0When the smaller kids had a go on the bouncy castle we played on the trampoline. \u00a0We had a party tent in the garden and my aunt Donna stuck up a big banner with my picture on it.<\/p>\n<p>It was my Dads 40th birthday around that time so we had a joint birthday and communion cake. \u00a0It had a picture of me on my communion on one half and a picture of my Dad from when he made his communion on the other half. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Even though I was sad when everyone went home I was happy because I had the best communion day ever!<\/p>\n<p><strong>By Kane Conneely &#8211;\u00a0Rang 2<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I made my first holy communion on 12th May. \u00a0There were 24 of us, 12 boys and 12 girls.
